Description

This module is designed to introduce students to key factors that influence the development and management of construction projects throughout their lifecycle and to various key construction management processes / techniques / tools that can be used to plan, co-ordinate and control project development to achieve successful project delivery. The module will involve research and discussion of industry information on issues such as construction project procurement, project planning, health and safety risk management, project risks, and technological developments in the construction industry. The module will be assessed through a poster assignment and a group tender project.
